Essu followed her mother throughout Urithiru. She would ask for her mother as she stared blankly passed her. Essu was one of the [[Fused]] who had gone crazy after thousands of years, disproving a theory Raboniel had about a Mother and Daughter serving together would preserve their sanity. {{book ref|sa4|65}}
Raboniel's goal with capture of Urithiru was to create Anti-Voidlight, as a means freeing her daughter from endless cycles of insanity. Once she and Navani discovered Anti-Voidlight, she constructed a dagger to finally kill Essu.{{book ref|sa4|97}} Raboniel later confirmed that Essu was permanently gone, having confirmed with the souls on [[Braize]].{{book ref|sa4|113}}
