Though it was unlikely for the stormwardens to be wrong about coming highstorms Elthebar didn't predict the one that occurred while Dalinar and [[Renarin]] were riding home from Dalinar's private conversation with [[Elhokar|King Elhokar]]. Dalinar and Renarin hardly got to Dalinar's warcamp before the storm broke free and were forced to hide in a barrack where Dalinar was caught by his vision.{{ref|b|twok|c|18}}
Dalinar first refused the aid of stormwardens but later he accepted them.
