Auxiliary's personality before the Dawnshard killed him is unknown. The Dawnshard burned away most of his essence, including parts of his personality.{{book ref|tsm|12}}{{book ref|tsm|20}} Due to this he lacks emotion, always talking in the same monotone voice.{{book ref|tsm|1}} He is self conscious about this however, and addsoften emotionsgives wherea he thinks they should be.
