Stephen used his expertise on the Razon case to determine if past-pictures were faked. Armando confirmed the veracity of the photos, however, he was disappointed with the composition of the photos.{{book ref|legion|3}}
 
He becomesbecame the first of Stephen's aspects to disappear after the arrival of [[Jenny]], leaving behind a bloodied, disorderly room.{{book ref|legion3|3}} After his death, Stephen loseslost all photography knowledge, even the simplest things like setting up a tripod.{{book ref|legion3|5}} Armando then became a nightmare, with pale skin and milky eyes in sunken sockets.
 
As a nightmare, Armando no longer followed the rules of regular aspects, moving directly through people rather than attempting to move around them as if made of real matter. He also spoke in a low voice that can still be heard over loud noises. He killed [[Tobias]] using a knife.{{book ref|legion3|6}} He also wounded Stephen with that same knife. [[J.C.]] arrived shortly afterward, killing nightmare Armando with his gun.{{book ref|legion3|7}}
