[[Wayne]] was told by people he spoke to on the street that Arintol iswas an honest solicitor.{{book ref|mb4|8}} While in the guise of a corrupt constable, Wayne recommended Arintol's services to a captured [[Vanishers|Vanisher]], a man named Sindren. He told Sindren to get the constables to promise him freedom with Arintol in the room and then confess his knowledge of the Vanishers' activities.
