Zen was hired by [[Exeltec]] to trail Stephen Leeds during the I3 fiasco. She went to dinner at the same place he did under the alias Carol Westminster.{{book ref|legion2|1}}{{book ref|legion2|2}} The following day, she tailed him from his house to the [[Liza|coroner]]'s office,{{book ref|legion2|9}} where she confronted him.{{book ref|legion2|13}} Ostensibly trying to obtain the flash drive he's holding, her actual purpose there was to bug him so she knew where he was going.{{book ref|legion2|16}} After Stephen goes to [[wikipedia:Denny's|Denny's]], Zen confrontsconfronted him at his car. She tellstold Stephen to get out of the car with his aspects, but, after letting his aspects (all but Audrey, unbeknownst to Zen) leave, she restrainsrestrained Stephen and tellstold [[Dion Maheras]] to drive or she'll shoot him. The car, driven by Dion and carrying Stephen and Zen, goeswent to a solitary house, where she putsput Dion and Stephen in the cellar.{{book ref|legion2|18}} SheSeveral minutes later, she receivesreceived instructions to kill Stephen and requestsrequested that he come outside for "individual questioning".{{book ref|legion2|19}} Stephen recognizesrecognized the ploy and stallsstalled for a few minutes until Zen receivesreceived a phone call informing her that Stephen was now president of Exeltec.
