Eshonai is with her mother, and Venli enters with a gemstone and a captured stormspren. They discuss the ramifications of this, and Eshonai walks outside and considers all that has happened. She yells into the storm, saying that everything she has done has been to preserve their freedom. She turns to leave and is greeted by the sight of a giant chasmfiend. A burst of light leaves the chasmfiend and follows Eshonai home.
