When Rashek took the power at the Well, he moved Ruin's Perpendicularity underground, where it remained at least up until the [[Catacendre]].{{wob ref|5786}} The perpendicularity was moved to the [[Pits of Hathsin]], which is why the crystals produced [[atium]].{{wob ref|5525}} The perpendicularity was used by [[worldhopper]]s in an interplanetary trade system, which was upended when [[Kelsier]] destroyed the atium geodes, to which [[Hoid]] remarked "was fun to watch".{{msh ref|2|1}} It was possibly destroyed during the Catacendre, like the Pits and the Well.{{wob ref|5600}}
