It has been confirmed that Patji at some point was a being of its own, an "avatar," with unknown amounts and origins of Investiture, somehow related to [[Autonomy]].{{wob ref|8902}}. Brandon previously said that Patji was a Shard of Adonalsium,{{wob ref|8606}} but later clarified and said that what he meant by that was that Patji was strongly connected to a Shard of Adonalsium, specifically Autonomy.{{wob ref|9385}}

Patji wrote the second letter in [[Oathbringer]].{{wob ref|12761}}.
