During the events of [[Battle of the Tower|the battle at the Tower]], bridge captain [[Kaladin]] says his [[Immortal Words|second ideal]] as a Windrunner, allowing him to use his powers freely and to take up squires. This is the beginning of the Refounding of the Knight Radiant order of the Windrunners. Later on, the rest of [[Bridge Four]] begin the process of becoming Windrunners, with other bridge crews becoming squires as well. The order is used regularly in [[Urithiru]] for transportation of people and goods and are trained in [[Shattered Plains|The Shattered Plains]].
The refounded order of Windrunners is well organized and maintains a strong military structure due to the fact that the order came about from bridge crews, originally run by [[Torol Sadeas|Sadeas]], and
