An ancient text written in the Dawnchant by the Dawnsingers. For a long time the Dawnsingers were thought to be spren, but after the Eila Stele was translated, it is revealed that the Dawnsingers were actually the ancestors of the Parshmen and Parshendi. It is revealed that the first Voidbringers were actually humans. Syl says to Kalidin that humans were once of Odium but than became of Honor

The Recreance was caused because the Lost Radiants discovered that surgebinding destroyed the humans first world. They gave up their spren becuse they desired to protect the world.
