For a long time the Dawnsingers were thought to be spren, but after the Eila Stele was translated, it is revealed that the Dawnsingers were actually the ancestors of the Parshmen and Parshendi. It is revealed that the first Voidbringers were actually humans. Syl says to Kalidin that humans were once of Odium but than became of Honor
