Bridgemen are a type of position in the Stormlight Archives. Due to the large chasms that needed to be crossed in order for Brighteyes to reach the battlefields, bridgemen are required to carry large bridges and lay them over the chasms so the armies can cross.

Kaladin was a bridgeman.
