He stated in episode 79 of Intentionally Blank that it was about a team of scientists on a space station trying to absorb the energy from a supernova, inspired by his interest in the topic. There was also a murder mystery on the station, and he hinted it had a "spren-like being" before he actually made what we now know as spren. It is the second novel [[Brandon Sanderson]] wrote.
