Marasi refers to the bands as belonging to the Lord Ruler, and Ladyhim Vindying takingwhen he lost them/they whengot heseparated from his diedbody. This sounds like a great example of in-world conflating of the facts as the mythos and the years increase. A note to this regard somewhere in this article (or a different one) would be helpful.
