House Kholin has access to a large and powerful military, during the War of Reckoning and before the Battle of Narak, they were primarily stationed at the Kholin Warcamp at the Shattered Plains. After the battle and the start of the True Desolation, most moved into Urithiru.
With their military might, they were capable of taking over the disunified Alethi provinces, bringing them together into a single unified Alethkar over years of conquest.
