The Wooden Soul was an [[Epic]] who lived in a remote Punjabi village.{{bookrefbook ref|Calamity|8}} She was a puppeteer or animator Epic. Her only known power was to give "life" to marionettes and enable them movement without being attached to any strings. [[Dean Knighthawk]]'s mannequin, Manny, was made using some of The Wooden Soul's DNA. She died ten years prior to the events of Calamity.
