: Hi Niser, I wanted to request that for any wob references you add, please do not put a space between the end of the sentence and the reference (eg. <code><nowiki> Example sentence.{{wob ref|}} </nowiki></code>). Also, if there are multiple references in a sentence, the reference should go after the punctuation instead of before it. I also wanted to remind you that speculation is rarely accepted on the Coppermind and these edits will, nine times out of ten, be removed. There have also been a number of edits from yourself that are written out of world (eg. Brandon said this....) - please write in world, as if you live in the cosmere. == Temporary Account Block ==

Hi @[[User:Niser Resin]], there seems to be a bit of a communication breakdown between yourself and the staff. We have made several requests here on your userpage regarding your edits and while you have adopted some of the feedback there are several things that we have not seen any acknowledgement of (either as a return message here or a change in editing behaviour). Because of this, we are putting a one week temporary block on your account in an effort to create a better communication channel between us and see if we can sort through these problems. The problems we have seen are listed above but here is a summary to make it easier to look through;

*Speculation - it is rare that speculation is acceptable to add to the Coppermind. Please discuss anything you think is worth adding either on a talk page (this one here, the one for the specific page etc) or in the Coppermind [https://discord.gg/3c2GhXH Discord] before adding conjecture to pages. It will be reverted.
*Writing information in an out of world context - outside of Trivia and Development sections, information should be written in world - there should be no mentions of Brandon or of the real world books/eras/series etc.
*Spaces before references - References should go directly after punctuation, whether it be a comma or period. There should not be a space put in between. We do not expect members to remember all the stylistic decisions that have been made for the site, but both staff and other members will give feedback on individual stylistic things to focus on so that newer members can build up their knowledge over time. Please take this feedback on board.

Eg. <code><nowiki> Example sentence.{{wob ref|}} </nowiki></code>

I also have to bring up one of your recent edit summary comments as it was rather rude and not in line with our [https://www.17thshard.com/forum/topic/89568-17s-code-of-conduct/#comment-975377 Code of Conduct]. The comment has subsequently been hidden (the actual edit is not hidden). While this temporary block was decided on before the summary comment in question, and was decided upon because of the above points and not this specific comment of yours, it is pertinent to note that rudeness is one the fastest way to get moderated. It is an expectation of those who use this site to be courteous to other members and to treat them with respect.

You should still be able to edit/respond here if you had any questions or queries, otherwise I recommend joining our [https://discord.gg/3c2GhXH Discord] so you can speak with all staff/editors and/or so you can message me directly. If all else fails, you can message me on the [https://www.17thshard.com/forum/profile/29792-ladylameness/ 17thShard] as well. Please reach out to us so that we can help smooth these issues over and work through any other concerns.
