A week after the plateau assault, Adolin went to a wineshop in the [[Outer Market]] with Danlan, [[Jakamav]], [[Inkima]], [[Toral]] and [[Eshava]]. Adolin complained about how he hated being proven wrong and wondered why Sadeas, who was in a position of strength, never used it to take out House Kholin. The group discussed Sadeas's motives and the Kholin reputation, which made Adolin uncomfortable.
