Setting that aside Brandon has since stated that due to the situation with the film rights this is no longer the case and ''Snapshot'' exists in a completely distinct continuity. - Actually Brandon was on record as saying that Snapshot takes place in the Reckoners multiverse, not the same core possibility as Steelheart. Setting that aside Brandon has since stated that due to the situation with the film rights this is no longer the case and Snapshot exists in a completely distinct continuity.
