Shallan Davar lived in [[Jah Keved]], and was a member of the [[Devotary]] of Purity. She was a [[Soulcaster]] and received training from [[Jasnah]]. She was in possession of a [[Shardblade]]<ref>{{bref|WoK|c|7}} - "A long, silvery sword in her hand, sharp enough to cut stones as if they were water."</ref><ref>{{bref|WoK|c|8}} - "Ten heartbeats, to bring forth the fruit of her sin, the proceeds of her most horrific act."</ref>. She was known to have murdered her father.
