:Because, as far as we know, Threnody is *not* suffering from the effects of a "dead" Shard. Threnody is a minor Shardworld, as such it does not have a Shard in residence (whole or Splintered). Its Cognitive shadows are, as far as we know, a natural part of Threnody's Realmatic situation.
