==Speculation and Citations==

Hi Stormgate! Welcome to editing the Coppermind. Good to have you here. I am Chaos, one of the Coppermind admins.

I have removed several statements in articles you have contributed to that were speculation. Speculation has a high bar on this wiki, and as a new editor, I would advise you to not use any speculation at all. Focus on the facts :)

Additionally, we would appreciate if statements you added had a proper citation for them. Though we definitely appreciate additions, we pride the Coppermind in being well-cited. Since you are the one adding material, we would appreciate you doing the research to cite things. Many Coppermind editors are very busy, and doing the research can be quite time-consuming. It might not be done for a long time, so please try to cite as much as you can! I'd hate for things you add to be uncited for a year or more when you can add them now :)

I apologize for the speculation, I will refrain from that in the future. As far as citing, my access to the books is regrettably far more limited than my ability to recall information found within. When possible, I will cite my sources.

:Thank you! I understand difficulty accessing the books, but research is also a very time consuming thing (maybe even more so than the writing of it!) so do try to do this. -- [[User:Chaos2651|Chaos2651]] ([[User talk:Chaos2651|talk]]) 23:31, 27 February 2019 (MST)
