Hey COG, welcome to the Coppermind! I saw you added one of Hoid's aliases from Dragonsteel Prime to his page. As best I can tell, that particular alias only appears in the parts of Dragonsteel Prime that Brandon hasn't released publicly yet (I know it's technically accessible at, for example, the BYU library, but given the practical limitations on that, it's not really the same, at least on our eyes). Our policy is that only information from Dragonsteel Prime that has been publicly released is allowed on the Coppermind, so I've removed that particular alias from the page and hidden those revisions from public view. If I'm just forgetting about one of the public sources, I'd be happy to be pointed in the right direction and I can restore it on the page. And again, welcome to the Coppermind; we're always excited to have new editors! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out on a talk page or on our Discord! Happy editing!<br />

:Thank you for the explanation! Rules must be followed after all… I swear to seek justice, to let it guide me, until I find a more perfect Ideal.

:You do awesome work! Let me know if you do find a public source before I do! Haha COG (talk) 15:53, 25 March 2022 (UTC)

::Thanks for understanding, young Skybreaker! As of right now, I believe Brandon's been planning to release the full book along with the WoR leatherbound Kickstarter next year, so that'll probably be when the content is allowed&mdash;though given its limited canonicity at this point, we'll probably want to keep Dragonsteel Prime information separate from other content on articles, just so it's clear that it's stuff that was true in earlier versions of the cosmere, but may or may not be now. --Stargazer (talk) 16:15, 25 March 2022 (UTC)
