:If you read chapter 113 of RoW closely, Taravangian clearly feels Szeth kill him. The history section of the page (see the last part of [[Taravangian#Betrayal_and_Imprisonment]]) currently does a good job of describing the timeline of that scene, which is indeed different from the circumstances of Sazed's Ascension.
