Please leave the "spren type" for and Bondsmiths as "unique" at this time. The type isn't "unknown"--we likely know as much as we ever will about what "type" of spren Stormfather is. And "Bondsmith" or "Bondsmith spren" isn't quite right either, and doesn't tell anything besides the obvious. "Unique" expresses the fact that there are no other spren of it's type. --Jofwu (talk) 19:48, 12 December 2017 (MST)

attention
That's fine I disagree that is all we will ever know but unqiue works but Nale should still be on that list and the Renarin's Spren is corrupted. -- Arook
Might be me, but is this really a page needing urgent attention, when everything that is known about the Nahel bond is on it? There is nothing more than the two citations in the book. Everything that would be added is speculation. --Telcontar (talk) 19:31, 7 November 2012 (UTC)

Cem, would you please explain your reasoning as to why you added a delete tag to this page? While I could see it being merged, but I think this needs to be discussed first, before the delete tag should have been added?--WeiryWriter (talk) 18:37, 24 March 2014 (UTC)
There's a strange line that's been there for a while saying that stormlight doesn't give people skill with a sword. It just seems wholly unnecessary. I mean we could list literally millions of things that stormlight *doesn't* do. Why even have that specific line?
:My reasoning is Nahel bond is an intrinsic part of Surgebinding and should definitely be discussed on that page. Also as far as I'm aware of, only the bond between spren and the Surgebinder is called the Nahel bond, so its existence is entirely dependent on Surgebinding, if that makes sense. I doubt if I managed to put everything we know on the Surgebinding article, but I think I at least covered a significant amount of it. If there's missing stuff, it can and should be added to Surgebinding, because it directly involves Surgebinding itself. So I don't think there's any point to having the same content in two different places.--Cem (talk) 00:24, 25 March 2014 (UTC)
:: It depends on how big the section ends up being imo. I see your point cem but I would hold that it would be better as it's own page --Joe ST (talk) 08:34, 25 March 2014 (UTC)

Nightblood a spren?
Definition of Nahel Bond
It turns out Mr. Sanderson uses the term Nahel bond for Ryshadium and greatshells as well,14509 which makes me wonder if we aren't using it too narrowly. I feel that we should change the name of this page to Radiant bond. --Niser, using a different computer

Someone has listed Nightblood as a spren for Szeth with no citation. Seems like speculation, and though an interesting one, it seems misleading if there isn't source confirmation.
:The plan is to expand this page to fully cover the meaning of "Nahel bond." --Stargazer (talk) 16:06, 9 April 2021 (UTC)

Here's an interesting thread on the topic of Nightblood, saying it's a splinter, a "robot spren", and a shardblade. http://www.17thshard.com/forum/topic/56565-nightblood-a-splinter/ Not sure if this is canon.
