Template:CharacterInfobox/Alethi Tien is a character from the series The Stormlight Archive. He is Kaladin's younger brother. He has a mix of unruly brown and black hair, and is small for his age. He has a fixation with rocks, and always seems to find beauty in them.
In Hearthstone, he was apprenticed to a carpenter named Ral. Tien habitually made intricate carvings, and was distracted from the more "useful" work easily.
He was pressed into Brightlord Amaram's army by Brightlord Roshone when he was thirteen. Amaram promised his parents that Tien would be a messenger, but was later put on the battlefield when there was a shortage of regular soldiers. Without any training and unable to use a spear correctly, Tien was killed by an enemy lighteyes officer four months after being drafted.
