Soulcasting was a form of Surgebinding on Roshar.

There was also a type of fabrial that allowed the user to soulcast.

Notes

This article is a stub. Please help The Coppermind by expanding it.

Soulcasters were both magical devices from the world of Roshar.

The fabrials themselves are considered holy objects, used only by Ardents. However, it is possible to to be a Soulcaster without a fabrial, supposedly through bonding with a specific type of spren.
