The Parshmen

The Parshmen are a race of humans on the world of Roshar, currently featured within The Stormlight Archive. Parshmen live among other humans (notably the Alethi) and generally function as servants. Barely of sentient intelligence, it is said that these people, if left in the woods, would stand around amiably until someone came along to tell them what to do. Generally, a Parshmen will take orders without any objection. While capable of speech, actually getting a parshmen to speak is rare, and even then they will usually only say one word at a time.

Parshmen are closely related to the Parshendi.

Physically, Parshmen are strong enough to perform physical labor. Their skin is also pale and marbled with color.

Culture

Not much is to be said about the culture of these people, as they don't have much of one. However, one notable feature is that all parshmen care about and are protective of their dead, usually objecting to anyone other than one of themselves tending to them. This care for the dead extends to corpses of Parshendi as well.
