Amongst the first recruits of Kelsier's rebellion, [[Ham]] quickly promotes him to the rank of captain after he (Ham) assumes leadership in light of Kelsier's absence. Demoux is in his early twenties during the events leading up to the [[Catacendre]].{{book ref\|mb1\|21}} He is a youthful man with military decorum at first,{{book ref\|mb2\|41}} growing into a grizzled, callused man after a stint leading [[Elend Venture]]'s army.{{book ref\|mb3\|8}} He has light tan skin, and a distinctive scar across a balding scalp after he is wounded in battle against the [[koloss]]. Answering Kelsier's call for a man who will defend the honor of the rebellion Demoux immediately stepped forward as one of several, being singled out by Kelsier to fight the dissenter [[Bilg]]. == Attributes and Abilities == Before the fight, Hammond confides to Kelsier that while Demoux's fighting abilities are not great, he is a trustworthy man but he is no match for Bilg in a fair fight. Assisted by Kelsier's [[Allomancy]], Demoux wins the fight and Kelsier seizes the moment to invigorate his troops by proclaiming that Demoux had the arcane arts the [[Lord Ruler]] possessed, that they all might possess.▼ Demoux is an [[atium]] [[Misting]].{{book ref\|mb3\|81}} he is more of a leader than a warrior. Here he demonstrated a sharp contrast to Yeden's impulsive nature by being patient and prudent. === The Skaa Rebellion === Demoux was loyal to [[Kelsier]] and a terrific leader.
