Deadeyes did not exist before the [[Recreance]].{{book ref|sa4|115}} What happened to Sprenspren whose Radiants abandoned their oaths prior to the Recreance is unknown. According to [[Kalak]], who was involved with the incident,{{book ref|sa4|94}} this was related to the imprisonment of [[Ba-Ado-Mishram]] which also caused the transformation of the [[Singers]] into the [[Parshmenparshmen]].{{book ref|sa4|97}}
