The Chrous are a group of shades on Canticle.[1]
They are kept in an open glass drum on the largest ships towards the middle of settlements.[2][1] Those in the Chorus are able to be divided among settlements by transferring some of the smoke from their Reliquary.
History
A group of Threnodites fled to Canticle, and the first to die became shades that would later be known as the Chorus.[1] They hold the history of those who fled to the planet, and build ships for those still alive.[3] No more shades have been made on Canticle since the Chorus.[1]
