Renarin Kholin
Renarin Kholin is an adolescent lighteyes from the series The Stormlight Archive.
He is the second son of Dalinar, and the younger brother of Adolin. Renarin is a proper, solemn young man although many people find his presence to be disturbing due to his tendency to pause when asked questions. He wears spectacles. In The Way of Kings, he is 19 years old. The kings Wit also seems to have a particular interest in Renarin and is generally much more good-natured and polite to him than to other lighteyes.
Renarin has a weakness in his blood that causes episodes of shaking unpredictably. Because of this, he has little practice with using a weapon, and no battle experience, however it has been thought that if he could obtain a set of Shardplate he may be able to overcome his blood-weakness and be able to learn to fight effectively. Dalinar has promised to give Renarin his Shardplate when he is proclaimed Highprince of War.
