During the [[War of Reckoning]], she lived on the [[Shattered Plains]], presumably in the Ruthar warcamp. In late {{Rosharan date|1173}}, she attended a meeting in the [[Pinnacle]] with other members of the Alethi nobility to discuss the threat of the [[Assassin in White]].{{book ref|sa2|38}}
Jayla's fate during the [[True Desolation]] is unclear.
