Gavilar is a character from the series The Stormlight Archive. Former King of Alethkar, was assassinated in the prologue to the Way of Kings by Szeth. Father to current King Elhokar and Jasnah, brother to Highprince Dalinar, uncle to Adolin and Renarin, and husband to Navani.
