Template:AlethiInfobox Dalinar Kholin is a Highprince of Alethkar. He is father to Adolin and Renarin, uncle to King Elhokar and Jasnah, brother to late King Gavilar, and courting Navani.

One of Dalinar's most miserable mistakes was falling asleep drunk while Gavilar was killed. After that event, he helped start the Vengeance War and began following the Alethi Codes of War.
