It is unknown whether Highprince Bethab fought for Gavilar or against him during the war for unification. [[Dalinar]]'s forces stop in Dumadari on their way to the [[Shattered Plains]] after the formation of the [[Vengeance Pact]] before sailing on to [[New Natanan]].
