The Verdant King is the king of the Emerald Sea and possibly other regions. He is referred to solely as king by the locals. He is the individual who authorized sending Charlie to the Sorceress.[1]

Trivia

  • The king is never specified to be the 'Verdant King' leaving it unclear if his kingdom extends beyond the Emerald Sea or even encompasses all of it.
