The bailiff of is a resident of Gongsha Town.

When Yumi declared she would be destroying the scholars' machine, Liyun sent Hwanji to get the bailiff in order to help execute the yoki-hijo's decision. The bailiff, along with a dozen men carrying hammers, accompanied Nikaro and Yumi's retinue to confront the scholars. The bailiff turns into a nightmare along with the others before they can accomplish their task. Later, when Yumi searches for the machine, she finds the scholars have hidden it in the bailiff's home.
