Zetah the Voiced is a Rosharan scholar.[1]
In 1174, Zetah wrote an essay about the Alethi King Elhokar Kholin swearing fealty to Dalinar as "highking" or emperor before leaving to attempt to reclaim Kholinar.[1] Shortly before the Battle of Thaylen Field, as Dalinar attempted to solidify the coalition of monarchs, Queen Fen Rnamdi of Thaylenah came into possession of the essay and revealed Zetah's claims to the assembled leaders, provoking shocked reactions from Yanagawn and Noura.[1]
Zetah's information about Elhokar and Dalinar was factually correct,[2] although it was presented with limited context in a way that troubled the other leaders.[1] The timing of the essay coming into Fen's hands (at the same time that Noura received previously undisclosed information about Dalinar's visions) was orchestrated by Taravangian, who had been seeking secrets that would undermine Dalinar's leadership of the coalition against Odium.[1][3]
