Yix is a member of Macob's caravan.[1]
He has golden hair and is potentially multilingual though not of Alethi origin. His golden hair hints that he is likely Iriali. Shallan later notices an Iriali man she recognized among those that had died in the battle with the bandits, making speculation that this man was Yix believable. He wore tan clothing with a sword at his side.
He scouted for the caravan, accompanying Tyn just before they met Shallan. His presence surprises Shallan, who had not noticed him until Tyn called his name.
