The Yeong-Gwang was a ship in the old fleet which carried humanity to Detritus.

The residents and descendants are known as Yeongian, and are mostly ethnically Chinese or Korean.[1]

One of the clans formed after their landing took their hydroponics knowledge and became underground farmers. Bim is from that clan.
