This page or section needs to be updated with new information for Oathbringer!
Be aware that in its current state, it may not include all additional content yet.

Voidlight is the visible form of Investiture associated with Odium similar to Stormlight that is derived from Honor's power.[1]

Appearance

Voidlight has dark violet glow as it leaks out of the user similar to the manner that Stormlight leaks from a Surgebinder.

Acquisition

Little is known about the generation and storage of Voidlight. Ba-Ado-Mishram is said to have provided access to Voidlight and the Forms of Power after the last desolation.[2] The Everstorm may deliver Voidlight to Voidbinders but it does not fill gems like Stormlight does.

Uses

Fused and Singers that have been given forms of power are able to use Voidlight to access Surges similar to a Surgebinder. Similar to how Stormlight gives the user a sense of immediate urgency and movement, holding Voidlight will have an emotional impact, though different from Stormlight's.[3]

Historical Notes

The Parshendi's forms of power are associated with Voidlight.[2]

Eshonai thought Voidlight was from the king of gods.[2]

Possible Voidlight

This page or section deals with theories or speculation.
Please read carefully and note that this is not necessarily canonical.

The black sphere given to Eshonai appears to emit Voidlight.[2] However, it may contain something else, perhaps Ba-Ado-Mishram, who seems to have been captured shortly before the Knights Radiant broke their Oaths.[citation needed]
