Stylistic choices[edit]

This article is designed as a Lord Ruler article, not as a Rashek article. This, I feel, is fitting, since the name "Rashek" would only appear in the early history sections. For everything else, he is referred to as the Lord Ruler. So I tend to feel that since he's called the Lord Ruler for over 1300 years, it makes much more sense.

The order of these subsections are also different from Help:Article structure/Characters. For this article, I feel it essential that Attributes and Abilities come first. It makes little sense to have Appearance and Personality before explaining the intricacies of his Compounding, which influences his appearance a great deal.

However, this I simply pasted from a Google doc a while back, and is imprecise. The idea of talking about Lutha is randomly thrown around like three times. This is because when I write, I do so very disorganizedly. You're seeing a lot of early work... But Slowswift/Theotherkholin, you wanted to work on it, so here it is. Others are welcome to contribute.

It is difficult to place what should be in here, or in the Final Empire article. I personally feel like the criticisms against the Lord Ruler, as written in book one, are relevant here to show that the Lord Ruler did slowly transform throughout its history. I would focus the Final Empire more upon cantons and Steel Ministry drama, which is not as relevant (though it is slightly relevant, but only in the Lord Ruler's direct interactions with cantons).

I'm rambling, so I'll stop now, but feel free to ask questions! -- Chaos2651 (talk) 15:04, 2 June 2015 (MDT)
