I started reading Brandon's works in 2015 and have been following the community on and off since then. I finally decided to start contributing here in 2019. I'm using this page to keep some resources. I also have a few Subpages for working on big changes to articles that aren't ready to go in the actual article yet.

I'm also a Keeper, which I guess means I'm qualified to answer questions about how to do wiki things or how to handle weird situations. Feel free to contact me on my talk page or on our Coppermind editors Discord server (I'm Stargazer#6905 there if you want to ping me or would feel better direct messaging me).

My thousandth edit came in the middle of a spree to fix the book parameter in all the Skyward infoboxes (I note that only so that I can remember in five years exactly which page it was).

List of Commonly Linked to Disambigs

List of things with the same name within a series

Does not include meta articles or articles that could be differentiated without a parenthetical (e.g., Chip Erikell)
Characters:

  1. Jam (caravaneer) and Jam (Hearthstone)
  2. Ton (singer) and Ton (Veden)
  3. Chip (constable) and Chip (hunter)

Other:

  1. Diagram (group) and Diagram (literature)
  2. Oathbringer (in-world) and Oathbringer (Shardblade)
  3. Wandersail and Wandersail (1174 ship)
  4. Wyrn (character) and Wyrn (title)
  5. Patji (island) and Patji (being)

Formatting Notes

Add spaces in front of lines to create boxes like this:

There's hidden text here, click "edit" if you want to see how it's done
Mouseover text
When using side quotes, make sure to write "|side=left/right|size=XXXpx" (instead of "|left/right|XXXpx") to avoid the "Sidequote with lazy parameters" category
Put a : at the front of an internal link if it's to the Category namespace (otherwise you just add the article to the category)

Ideas

  • Edit {{wob ref}} to auto-tag all articles with unimported WoBs

Projects (in rough priority order)

Sub-pages

Small Workspace (Currently for cosmere revisions)

Note: I'm not putting too much effort into layout (sidequotes and images mostly) just yet, because the text isn't set in stone steel yet and if it changes that could impact layout. I do intend to add more though, especially images.

    • Capitalization
  • See Also Considering nixing this as well; all of these topics will have {{for}}s throughout the article. The articles (and TOC) is already pretty long.

Stuff Cut from Cosmere Page

Content I wrote for the new cosmere page, was too detailed, but might be useful elsewhere

Odium's Impact on Selish CR
First, it made the Cognitive Realm around Sel incredibly dangerous, as Devotion and Dominion's Investiture is trapped together in a high-energy state known as the Dor, without enough "escape valves" to stabilize the system.[1][2] Second, because the Cognitive Realm was distinct locations and the Spiritual Realm does not, systems of Investiture on Sel became highly-location dependent—different systems of Investiture exist in different regions and the symbols used to access the Dor are often derived from geographical features.[1][3][4][5]
