{{settlement}} This is a guide for what sections to include on a page describing a city or town or other settlement of people.

The part before the in-depth sections should be a few paragraphs long and is meant to be a general overview of the settlement.

Location/Geography[edit]

This section should contain a description of the settlements location in terms of its nation and other close settlements. It should also describe any notable geography like the various features of Kholinar and other Rosharan cities, or the canals in Urteau, the natural defences of Fadrex City etc.

Notable Locations[edit]

A {{for}} to the settlement's architecture category

A list of descriptions of various important buildings or other important structures or features of the settlement. EG palaces, temples, city-walls, and other places visited or mentioned in the books.

History[edit]

This section should describe, in subsections with date ranges, the history of the settlement. Include a short description of what happened before and after this settlement's existence, with lots of links to connect it to more in-depth descriptions of those times. Also tie in links to the nations history section if necessary.

=== Period (date range) ==

Culture[edit]

An in depth description of the culture and mannerisms of the local populace, if necessary.

Trivia[edit]

Out of universe facts and info about how Brandon created the settlement, for example the bells of Kharbranth or the walls and sections of Luthadel.

See Also[edit]

Links to other things which they are a part of.

Notes[edit]

The notes section should first list <references /> then include the book navbox and any other extra categories (though we prefer these to be tags listed in one part of the infobox). Just prior to the navbar there may be an article status template, one of {{stub}}, {{partial}}, or {{complete}}.
