The {{peoples}} infobox template can be used to describe populations of peoples that are not better described by one of the other infobox templates; this is sometimes the case with ethnicities that span multiple nations. As a counterexample, describing the people living in a given nation is often best done on the nation's page itself, while setting up a redirect (e.g. Unkalaki would redirect to Horneater Peaks).

Parameters

Highlighted lines indicate mandatory parameters. On lines with multiple parameters (e.g. |world= / earth=) pick only the one most appropriate.

Parameter	Description	Examples
image	Use this to display a relevant image hosted on the Coppermind. See Help:Infoboxes for further details.	|image=Parshendi Army.jpg
species	Use this to specify the species of this peoples. List all relevant species when dealing with people of mixed ancestry.	|species=[[Aimian]]s |species=Human, [[Singers]]
city or state or region or nation	Use this to describe the city, state, region, or nation where the peoples can be found. If several of these are known, usually only the most local goes in the infobox (e.g. populations that live entirely in a specific region shouldn't have the encompassing nation also listed). location	If the other location parameters can't describe the location where the peoples can be found, this one can be used to provide additional nuance.	|location=The kandra Homeland

Categories & Tags

Pages that make use of the {{peoples}} template will be added to Category: Ethnicities and Nationalities. In addition to this, specifying an earth in the infobox will apply the appropriate Earth category (e.g. |earth=Reckoners will apply Category:Earth (Reckoners)).
