Just out of curiosity, Joe, why did you change those references to questions that weren't asked? --16:44, 2 August 2013 (UTC)

Sorry, I tend to like... paraphrase? >< you should probably revert... *hides from the wrath of Windy* --Joe ST (talk) 16:58, 2 August 2013 (UTC)

Talenel's Honorblade

That aside on Honorblades supposedly vanishing on their owner's death doesn't line up with anything we've seen so far, and now directly contradicts known facts (WoR, near the end). Given there's no other explanation we have at the moment for the Honorblade's materialization, perhaps we can assume he simply unbound it himself? Either way, probably best to remove the conjecture and leave the known facts. - Darte Fellshard (talk) 09:30, 3 May 2014 (UTC)

Honorblades vanishing on their heralds death, it is mentioned (by a Herald) in the Prelude of WoK and has been mentioned numerous times by Brandon in interviews. Also the Honorblade doesn't materialize at any point in the epilogue, Taln is already weilding it by the time he appears on screen. The page is keeping with the known facts, I actually don't see any speculation with regards to that.--WeiryWriter (talk) 12:58, 3 May 2014 (UTC)
I don't have the book on hand, unfortunately, as I've lent it to someone else. I'll trust that it's true, but reference citations would still be useful. -Darte Fellshard (talk) 01:58, 5 May 2014 (UTC)

Are we sure that it was in fact Taln's Honorblade? I know that in the prologue of The Way of Kings he dies and the Honorblade goes with him, but in Words of Radiance (Chap76: The Hidden Blade), Dalinar binds with the madman's (i.e. Taln) Shardblade. Further evidence that it is actually a Shardblade (besides the nature of Honorblades giving obvious Radiant powers), is when Dalinar becomes a Bondsmith and binds with Stormfather, he hears screams ( WoR: Chap89: The Four). What's going on?
