Difficulty

Surgebinding is hard, because we don't know much about it, and what we know is very much influenced by how the characters see it. I tried to be as general in my description as possible though. There are lots of things that seem to be taken for granted in relation to Surgebinding, f.ex. that one would always need an Honorspren, or that the bond between Surgebinder and spren is called Nahel Bond. I did not include those.

Dont worry dude, you did AWESOME :D You could probably add the things you marked as {t|clarify}} in under the {{theory}} banner. I reformatted the Order's section since each order should have its own page with more explanation. --Joe ST (talk) 22:05, 23 October 2012 (UTC)

Isomere's theory

Hey Isomere, I think we will be removing your theory, since it's so new. You yourself stated in the section that its premature. Until they have been accepted and critiqued by a number of people, I don't think it's worthy of a full section. I will leave it for now, until others have had input. --Joe ST (talk) 18:06, 23 April 2013 (UTC)

Oops, I didn't see this here; I had posted my response to you on your talk page, Isomere. I agree the theory is strongly premature. In fact I am uncomfortable with any theory on here that claims to know additional Surges, just as I would be uncomfortable with putting what people think could be Shards on the Shard page. Additionally, regarding Cultivation's relevance to Surgebinding, I'm... also uncomfortable with that claim. I am very certain that we can say that Surgebinding is of Honor, but I am uncomfortable displaying that it is of Cultivation as well without more concrete evidence. -- Chaos2651 (talk) 01:08, 24 April 2013 (UTC)
I strongly agree with all of this. I'm not sure Isomere's seeing the talk page though, perhaps we'd better PM him? --Windrunner (talk) 02:50, 25 April 2013 (UTC)
Update: Rolled back recent edits on Josh's orders. More info in PM coming soon --Windrunner (talk) 04:30, 25 April 2013 (UTC)

Nahel Bond Chart

This is my favourite page on Coppermind, I'm constantly coming back to it. Nice Job. With that being said, would it be reasonable to add one more column to the Nahel bond chart to list the name of each order? The metatext for the symbols does list the order, but it would be handy to be able to read it off the chart. Thanks! --Aheerema (talk) 14:29, 24 April 2014 (UTC)

Done --Joe ST (talk) 14:42, 24 April 2014 (UTC)

Releasers/Dustbringers

What are people thinking about what we should call these guys? I like that Dustbringers is consistent with the other orders, but I have a feeling that Releasers is probably the proper name. Then again, even Kalak calls them the Dustbringers... Other thoughts? --Windrunner (talk) 05:26, 6 October 2014 (UTC)

I'd say to stick with Dustbringers for now, though that is mostly me not liking things that break patterns. The point about Kalak is good too and also the only source that calls them Releasers is a text that has been "sanitized" by the Vorin church. I'd say we need a WoB on this.--WeiryWriter (talk) 16:02, 6 October 2014 (UTC)

Nahel Bonds and Radiant Attributes

Don't we know which Heralds are associated with each Order, and the attributes the Heralds are associated with? As such, I'd say we do know which attribute the Orders are associated with. (For example the Windrunners and Protection)

Bondsmiths

aren't bond smith's purpose to unite?
