The Svordish university is a center of learning in Svorden, a former sovereign nation in northeastern Opelon that was annexed by the Fjordell Empire.[1]

Svorden is described as the "cultural epicenter" of eastern Opelon, and the university is well-known.[2][3] People from other nations reference contemporary research by Svordish scientists and the complexity of the education in their schools.[4][5] Svordish literature is sometimes read even in the distant Rose Empire.[6] The university keeps human bodies for study.[2]
Although Svorden is part of the Fjordell Empire, the university allows people from Arelon to enroll, as Lukel is a recent graduate.[7]

Jalla and Lukel met while attending the university together.[7][1] Hrathen has visited the university.[2]
